One of the founders of Performance Role Play Training Pty (LTD), Charlotte is a U.K. trained Business Role Player who has worked extensively as a high-level training facilitator and Role-Play Consultant in the corporate environment locally and abroad. She has collaborated on the design of several communication courses with specific focus on voice production, telephone skills, customer service, self-awareness, graduate training and presentation skills for executives. Charlotte has years of experience in working in various forms of training and development including real play, one-on-one Role Play, Forum Theatre, Boardroom Theatre, Open Space Technology, verbal and non-verbal communication, effective feedback and immersive learning experiences.
She has worked as a BRP with financial institutions – Barclays U.K throughout Africa (Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Seychelles), The World Bank (Rwanda, Washington), Standard Bank (South Africa) and Absa (South Africa). Other clients include MPS (Medical Protection Society), Vodacom (South Africa, Tanzania, Mozambique, DRC), Montecasino and General Motors.
She is also a subject expert in the planning and execution of conference facilitation, industrial theatre, live events, gala receptions, nationwide roadshows, award ceremonies, product launches and entertainment events.
Charlotte Butler is an award-winning actress who has been in the industry for over 35 years. She has appeared in countless stage productions for the State Theatre, Pieter Toerien Productions and The Market Theatre. Charlotte played the role of Dr. Havel in Isidingo for over 10 years as well as many other roles for television and film, in both local and international productions.
