Ilse Klink

Senior Business Role Player, Shareholder / Non-executive Board Member, Actress

As a Senior Role Player for PRPT over the last 6 years, Ilse has been able to combine her passion for training and acting to enhance and facilitate people management. She has worked with a broad range of clients and has experience in various sectors of the training industry, which include finance, customer care, telecommunications, retail, medical and mining. The wide variety of clients using her services as a Role Player for PRPT include Vodacom, DukeCE, Barclays, ABSA, Tsogo Sun, SA Revenue Services and Kumba Iron Ore. Ilse has extensive experience in various types of corporate training including Real Play, Forum Theatre, Improvisation, communication skills, listening skills, unconscious bias and facilitation and has the ability to play a wide range of characters. Her particular focus is challenging conversations and customer care with senior leadership. Ilse received her training from the founders of PRPT and has done a workshop with Corporate Business Role Player trainer, Colin Hunter.

She holds a BA Drama qualification from Pretoria University. She is a professional, warm, open personality that allows delegates to trust and participate wholly in the process of learning they are presented with.  She is highly skilled in reading the needs of clients and delegates, and specializes in effective feedback.

Ilse still acts professionally, and has been in the entertainment industry for the last 25 years. Her film and television credits include award winners such as The Ellen Pakkies Story, Stroomop, Dis Ek Anna, Isidingo, Roer Jou Voete, Lockdown, Diamond City and Inkaba. Theatre credits include Kristalvlakte,  Scorched, Mamma Mia,  Rent, and Showboat. She has just completed a world tour of Chicago, The Musical as Mama Morton.

She has also won numerous awards for all three genres of performance: the Golden Horn, Kyknet Fiesta, Avanti, Cobus Rossouw and Naledi awards. Numerous nominations include Naledi,  Fleur du Cap, and Safta awards.
