Judy Ditchfield has been working in the world of Communication for over 35 years. First as an award winning actor, both on stage and screen, then as a writer, and finally as a sought after Facilitator and Business Role Player. As a facilitator she rolled out the Performance Management Standard and Coaching for Higher Performance for Anglo American, Kumba Iron Ore, De Beers, Anglo Coal and Platinum. Judy has run various courses for, amongst others, Vodacom, Multichoice, Absa and Standard Bank CIB. She is currently one of the key facilitators in Team Effectiveness for Vodacom South Africa from Executive Level to Middle Management. 

Judy is UK trained as a BRP and facilitator and has worked extensively both internationally and locally, largely at senior management levels. She has worked throughout Africa; in Egypt, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Mozambique and Lesotho. Internationally she has role played in London, Sao Paolo – Brazil, and Washington DC. Judy is a skilled and accomplished Business Role Player who blends a passion for her craft with a passion for people development.  Her ability to bring role plays and simulations to life ensures that the delegates are able to practice their skills and behaviours in a non-threatening environment, returning to the workplace more robust and agile, ready to make a difference. She works across all areas of communication, with particular interest in body language, understanding impact and self-awareness. Judy has been working extensively in Immersion techniques in Business Role Play utilizing Boardroom Theatre, Forum Theatre, Real Play, one-on-one Role Play, with particular emphasis on giving feedback, reflecting back around impact and understanding the power of body language. Although based in South Africa, Judy’s clients have included the World Bank, Anglo American, Vodafone, Vodacom, Sun International, Barclays, Medical Protection Services (MPS), ABSA, Duke CE, Standard Bank, the South African Reserve Bank, Tourvest Travel Services, MTN, General Motors, Kumba and Accenture, JTI for Steps UK. Judy works predominantly on an executive level but also within all levels of  an organizations.  

As an awarding-winning actress, Judy has worked in the Industry for over 35 years – best known for her role as Stella in the daily drama Isidingo, and as Mrs Rabinowitz in SABC 1’s Ses Top’La. On stage Judy’s most recent shows have included: Sister Act, Tiger Bay (in association with the Wales Millenium Centre in Cardiff), and 6 Dance Lessons in 6 weeks.
