Zane Meas

Business Role Player and Facilitator, Actor

Zane Meas has extensive experience in the corporate field, and is an accomplished Role Player, working with Performance Role Play Training. He has role played with ABSA, Barclays, MTN, Liberty, Citibank and DukeCE amongst others. He has a great ability to refocus delegates into understanding their impact and what they need to do in order to shift behaviours for maximum impact. 

Zane Meas has been an actor for the past 31 years and has appeared in numerous stage, television, film and radio productions. He is best known as the rugby hero, Mackie, from the television series “The Game”, Mr. Botha in “Molo Fish” and as Jack van Onselen in the TV soap ‘Isidingo’. Zane was recently  seen as ‘Neville Meintjies’ in the popular daily drama ‘7de Laan’ on SABC2 and in “Sober Companion” on SABC3. He is currently Wesley Thompson on Scandal.

Zane established The Fatherhood Foundation of South Africa in 2006 and speaks throughout the country on the effects of fatherlessness. He has addressed more than 700 seminars across the country on fatherhood and has reached out to thousands of people with this message. His speaking engagements have seen him address meetings in all the nine provinces of the country. His presentations on fatherhood have been widely received and continue to garner support from all sectors of the population in the country.

Zane released a music album in Afrikaans entitled ‘Hart van die Vader’ with songs he wrote based on the work he does with men and fathers. It won an ATKV Lier Award for 2009.

Zane has written a book; ‘Daddy, come home’ published by Struik Christian Media which has been in major book stores since the first week of May 2010He has produced and written a feature film “Father” set in the Cape Flats that was released in March 2013.

He has been married to Megan for 24 years and they have five kids, two dogs and a mortgage.

Tshepiso Mashego

Business Role Player and Actor

Tshepiso Mashego has had extensive training in Business Role Play through Performance Role Play Training as well as having attending PRPT’s Masterclass by UK’s CEO, Colin Hunter. She is also skilled in improvisational theatre. Aside from working with PRPT, she has worked with international company, Hercules Coaching, doing Business Role Play and improv campaigns all over the world. She is a member of their first African team.  She is proving to be a sought-after Role Player with Performance Role Play’s clients, due to her great insight and strong ability to observe and give feedback.

Tshepi, as she is best known, is a South African powerhouse actress and singer. She is a musical theatre graduate from the Tshwane University of Technology, with vast experience in television, stage and film. Having worked in almost every theatre in South Africa and internationally directed by the best of the best, Tshepi shows her versatility as an artist, having been involved in International Musicals; reality TV shows, movies and television series. She has also MC’d and hosted several corporate functions for the likes of Mercedes Benz and Samsung, as well as hosting the Namibian Music Awards.  She’s been on several roadshows for different clients who include the National Empowerment Fund, Wimpy, Education SA and SA Gambling Board to name a few. She has also facilitated workshops and done Industrial Theatre for different mining companies in South Africa.  

Krijay Govender

Business Role Player, Actor, Facilitator

Krijay Govender is a regular Role Player for Performance Role Play Training. As an actor/ director she has a great ability to both read a room, as well as give effective and insightful  feedback and understand levels of pushback. She has a strong understanding of business and its challenges.  Clients have included Kumba, ABSA, Barclays and South African Reserve Bank.

She is an award-winning performer, director and writer with 5 SAFTAs (South African Film and Television Awards) to her name and was well received at the Edinburgh Festival as playwright/performer. Govender is a published academic and holds a Masters Degree in the Arts. She graduated with a BA Arts from the University of Natal in 1997. She majored in Politics and Drama, achieving a Masters Degree for both. In 1998 she took a Media Management and Arts Admin course, also at UKZN. Besides her stand-up comedy career, Govender is an award-winning actress, playwright (Women in Brown) and director on stage and screen (Font, Isidingo). After directing Isidingo (2 SAFTAs for Direction) and the hit series Ubizo, Govender directed Rhythm City and the final session of City Sesla as well as Head Director on Ses Top ‘La, among many others. She has worked as a radio presenter and a columnist in the print media. 

Keneilwe Matidze

Business Role Player, Attorney, Actor

Keneilwe Matidze is a qualified attorney who practiced corporate law for a period of five years at Webber Wentzel and has a deep understanding of the corporate environment.

She has been a part of Performance Role Play Training since June 2018 and has had exceptional feedback on her Role Play and insights for our clients. Her ability to quickly assess the needs of delegates and apply them in  the Role Play, has made her a firm favourite. Keneilwe has been doing Business Role Play through PRPT for Standard Bank, Vodacom, Kumba Mining, Santam and Duke CE. She was a very successful contributor to the Standard Bank C-Suite Immersion.

She is a well-established actress and has played a variety of leading roles in productions such as Isidingo, The Queen, Gold Diggers and Intersexions. She also works behind the scenes and is a sought after casting director. She has particular expertise is Real Play but also in Forum Theatre.

Her qualifications include an LLB degree from the University of Witwatersrand.

Wayne van Rooyen

Business Role Player, Actor

Wayne Van Rooyen started working with Performance Role Play Training in 2015 and has remained a strong member of the team. Wayne’s engaging manner makes him a favourite with everyone he works with and he has a great ability to create a safe space for delegates to challenge and stretch themselves. He has mainly focussed on Real Play with Vodacom and Sun International. He is a great story teller.

Wayne grew up in Eldorado Park. He realised his passion for performance and storytelling in High School but went on to study Graphic Design instead. He eventually decided to enroll at the University of the Witwatersrand where he studied Drama and graduated with a BA in Dramatic Art with Honours. Since graduating, he has performed on stages both locally and internationally, and has appeared on several local television shows and the locally produced films ‘Jozi’, ‘Sink’ , ‘Mayfair’ and ‘Fiela se Kind’.

Some of his theatre work includes ‘Sonneblom’; ‘Sophiatown’; ‘The King of Laughter’ for which he won an Naledi award for Best Supporting Actor; the world premiere of Athol Fugard’s ‘Victory’; and the Royal Shakespeare Company’s South African collaboration of William Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ with the Baxter Theatre.

His television credits include the SABC comedy ‘Sorted’; the Hallmark drama ‘Wild at Heart’; ‘Font’; ‘Kruispad’; ‘Getroud met Rugby’; ‘Binneland Sub Judice’; ‘Hillside’; ‘Colour TV’, ‘Hartland’; ‘Erfsondes’; ‘Geraamtes in die Kas’; ‘Swartwater’; ‘Shreds and Dreams 2’; for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the SAFTAS 10; ‘Fluiters’ and Etv’s ‘Scandal’.

Wayne is also actively involved in his own production company that works with schools to develop, support and grow the youth of South Africa – one of his passions.

Carly Graeme

Business Role Player, Actress

Carly Graeme has been a Business Role Player for Performance Role Play Training since 2012 and is passionate about training and facilitation. Her ability to read the challenges and body language of delegates has allowed her to bring great insight to those she Role Plays with. She is committed to growing those she works with and has a strong ability to create a safe environment for delegates to push themselves within the sessions and be open to learning.

Carly is known as one of South Africa’s favourite leading ladies. She graduated with an Honours Degree in Theatre from the Guildford School of Acting in the UK and went on to appear in productions ranging from Shakespeare to Pantomimes.

Since returning to South Africa in 2003, she has appeared in a number of musicals including Cinderella, The Sound of Music, Life@Centrestage, Grease and The Buddy Holly Story. Her next role took her to the stages of Auckland, Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok where she received wide critical acclaim playing Ozzy Ozbourne in We Will Rock You.

Back on stage in South Africa, Carly had great success in the original Knights of Music, followed immediately by The Boys in the Photograph. This role earned her a Naledi nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. Following this she alternated the role of Donna in Mamma Mia! and spent a year training on roller skates for her role as Pearl in Starlight Express – which earned her another Naledi Award nomination. Other notable theatre performances include her recent portrayal of Emma in Harold Pinter’s Betrayal (for which she has received a 2018 Naledi nomination for Best Actress in a Play), and her creation of the role of Angie in the brand new musical Calling Me Home.

She was invited to sing for HRH Prince Edward at a Royal Command Performance and has front-lined hundreds of corporate events. She has appeared on TV in Generations, 90 Plein Street and S’es Topla and has lent her face and voice to a number of commercials. She is an outstanding Dialect Specialist and accent coach to professionals in the industry and is a lecturer at Honours level in Musical Theatre at Wits.
